Terms of Use
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms cover your use of Postware, the credits-compilation service at postware.tv (“Postware”, “we”, “us”). By signing in or using Postware you agree to them. If you use Postware on behalf of a production company or studio, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
Accounts
- Postware accounts are by invitation. Keep your password private and don't share your account.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- We recommend turning on two-step sign-in in your profile.
Your production's content
- The credits, names, notes, comments and files a production adds (“Content”) belong to that production.
- You give us permission to store, process, display and export Content only as needed to provide Postware to you and the people you share it with.
- You confirm you have the right to add the Content — including the names and details of cast and crew — and that doing so doesn't break any law or agreement.
- We treat Content as confidential. We understand that productions are often unreleased and sensitive.
Acceptable use
Don't use Postware to:
- access shows, departments or accounts you haven't been given access to, or try to get around access rules;
- upload anything unlawful, infringing or harmful, or anything containing malware;
- overload, disrupt, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- send spam or misuse invitations.
Accuracy of credits
Postware helps productions check their credits — for example, that everyone is listed and billing rules are followed — but the production remains responsible for its final credits and its contractual obligations. Always review exports before they're used.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Postware available and secure, but it's provided “as is” and we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. Keep your own copies of important exports.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or remove access that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. A production can stop using Postware at any time; ask us if you'd like a final export of your Content.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Postware isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let account holders know. Continuing to use Postware means you accept the updated terms.
