About Postware
End credits deserve better than a spreadsheet chase.
On most productions, the end credits are pieced together from payroll exports, emails and marked-up PDFs, often at the last minute. A misspelled name or a missed contractual card is easy to make and hard to fix once it's on screen.
What Postware does
Postware gives every production one place for its credits. Department heads confirm their own people. Show admins arrange the names onto numbered cards and run checks for missing names, duplicates and billing rules. Line producers comment, approve the final version, and can see exactly what changed if the cards move after sign-off. The finished credits export to Excel, Word or PDF, ready for the editor or the title house.
What we believe
The people who know the names enter them
Each department head confirms their own crew: every name, spelling and title. Nobody retypes a list from an email.
Nothing changes without a record
Every edit to a list or a card is kept with who made it and when, so questions late in post have answers.
Contracts are part of the list
Billing requirements travel with each name, and the cards are checked against them before anyone signs off.
Built for the way television works
Episodes share most of their crew. Departments, names and finished cards carry forward, so episode ten takes minutes, not days.
How we work with productions
Postware is invitation only. We set up each show, add its show admins and help them get started; from there, the show admins invite their department heads and reviewers. Each person sees only the shows and departments they've been added to.
